Who is behind this platform
The privacy policy says what happens to a school's records. This page says who is answerable for them: the operator, its registration, its address, its host, and the person to write to about personal data.

The law this platform is run under
EduOnPoint is operated from Cameroon and is subject to Cameroonian law: Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercriminality, Law No. 2010/013 on electronic communications, and Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data. Where a school uses the platform from elsewhere, the law of Cameroon still governs the agreement between the school and the operator.
A school is the controller of its own register and the operator processes it on the school's behalf. The terms of service set out that division; the privacy policy sets out what the operator does and never does with the records.
Your rights, and how to use them
Anyone whose details are held here — a pupil, a parent, a member of staff — may ask what is held, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be erased where the law allows. Ask the school first, because the school holds the register; if the school cannot or will not answer, write to the address above and the request will be handled directly.
Every account is asked to accept the terms and the privacy policy on first sign-in, and again whenever they change. The date under the title is the version in force; the platform records which version each account accepted, and when.
